手羽元の梅煮がめちゃ美味しい。手羽元をお酒でヒタヒタにして、梅干し一つ（お好み）入れて25分煮るだけ。わたしは手羽元五本に梅干し三つ入れてみました。塩も何も入れないのに味がつくよ。残ったスープにご飯と卵入れて雑炊にするとこれまた美味しい。

まず、頭の良さをほめたグループは、新しい問題を避け、同じ問題を解こうとする傾向が強くなった。ボロを出して自分の能力を疑われるかもしれないことは、いっさいやりたがらなくなった。一方、努力をほめられた生徒達は、その9割が、新しい問題にチャレンジする方を選び、学べるチャンスを逃さなかった。 つまり、子供が努力した事をほめると、子供は努力する事に喜びを感じるようになるのだ。
